Thank you for posting the link. I'll check it out. I think networking is a good thing for those of us in sales. We get tips from others in sales and may also get new leads or customers.

its not just about networking. To be more successful than your colleagues you have got to do more quality calls. Its simple maths - the more people you see the more you will sell. Also make sure you do not assume anything. I have come out of places that look like sheds with orders worth £1000's. Start high - it is easier to negotiate down than up
