Default Affiliate marketing

Not sure how many people would know about this subjet on this forum but I'll give it a shot anyway.
I am fairly new to affiliate marketing, it started as a part time 'hobby' and is now almost making as much as my full time job! I was just wondering if I should make the leap and do it full time? or is this sector to volitile?

Do you work in any specific sector in affiliate marketing?
I've done a but myself and as I'm sure you already know but some areas are quite hit and miss and some are prone to drop of all together.
When you say you are making the same as your full time job is that after advertising costs and tax etc? I would aim to bring in 2x your full time income and save up enough incase you hit a rough patch!
Also try and visit some conferences they are an invaluable source of info such as the af4u conference, see Affiliate Marketing | Forum | Community | Blogs | News
Hope it helps

Thanks for the advise, I'm already a member of the forum above.
My main time of the year is xmas, as I'm sure most people are the same so hopefully I will be able to go full time by this time next year
