Default Sales Success Story

There is nothing in this world that I would rather do then sell.My only regret is that I didnt get into it at an earlier age.I did the corporate thing for ALMOST 20 YEARS OF MY LIFE.I then took a chance on sales with a company that promised the world and delivered nothing,it was in selling insurance to small business owners. You know the kind of place where you sell those you know and boom thats it for company support.I went bankrupt and the corporate world decided I was too old to get back in in my 40s.I took a job as a tin man and learned from some real pros in the business what real one time closing was all about.I then transfered this over to the travel industry and became the number one salesperson for a wonderful company in the travel industry.I was promoted to assistant director and now director and have received so many job offers in my 50s that I cant count.Wont be going anywhere since Im making well in the six figures, but I feel an obligation to the occupation that saved me .I not only am mentoring and helping those in my company but am happy to help any of you that need it on this website with advise and encouragement. Some basics:
Be passionate about your product.Only work for a leader in the industry.
Constantly learn, you stop learning you start sinking.
Hang around the top salespeople.Emulate them.
Stay away from the misery loves company type. They are on the bottom for a reason.
If they say its not the money, its always the money
There are lots of ordertakers, there are only a few % of salespros.
There are a ton of excuses, but few true objections.Become the pro at handling them and you will succeed.
Its always better to be the lead dog,the views much better.
Admit that you are afraid to ask for the order and then get the balls and knowledge to overcome it.

All for now, need help Im here for you anytime.Send me a PM or ask here.
Ed

Default I love to be a sales

Thank you for your successful story, I love to be a sales, but I just started to be a sales, and I have a problem is that I don't know how to push my customer to buy nicely, although I've got along well with them.

Can you tell me how can i make it?

Cara,

You may want to visit Ari Galper's site, Unlock The Game. I have found many of his techniques help with easying into the sales part once I am comfortable with the client.

The secret to sales is to listen to your customer and provide them with the best solution. They are talking to your for a reason. Know what it is and address it.

Everybody buys something. They either buy from you or you buy there excuse.
