Sales Territory Realignment

Hi All,
I wanted to check with all of you to see how your company manages
Sales Territory Realignment?

How often do you realign?
Which Applications do you use to acheive it?
How happy are you with the process.

In my company, this is one of the bigger challenges we are facing.
The process takes way too much time. I do see the value in realignment,
but the overhead to complete it takes up a lot of time and resources.

Any advice would be highly appreciated.
