Default open a sales meeting

Hi everybody,

I found out that i'm very bad in starting a conversation, you know that is required to relax the atmosphere at the beginning of a business meeting. I'm like a young wolf, I go directly into the problem and that's, you know, kind of frustraing for the partner.
Is there anybody who can help me? Do you people have any techniques? What should I do? Can u tell me what subjects should I treat?

Thanks!

Default Ice Breakers

Hey rahante,

I talk firstly about them. People like to hear about them selves. Funny that sounds, but true. I find when entering into a new business, I pick something i like about their shopfront/office and complement on something that stands out. I tell them i like it and then lead into asking what they do, how long they have been doing it, how its going. This Info you gain you can use actively when it comes time for you to talk. I sell all office digital equiptment, so when i am talking bout "their business", I am gathering information about what they have and what potenital upgrades or addons that is going to help their business run more productivly/save costs etc. etc.

but yeah, back to greetings. Ask them about them selves. They will have plenty to tell you

hope this helps
