Default Car sales job question

I am looking into changing careers and getting in to car sales. I am currently making about $4000 a month plus benefits. I live in Las Vegas. How likely is it for me to make close to that much starting out?

Car sales are not as good a job as they once were in my opinion. Commissions are lower and sales are lackluster at best due to auto makers not understand what Americans truly need and want. Best of luck to you though.

If you want to be successful in business, car buy and sale is a good stepping stone. Many customers nowadays looking for a used car. If you're in the business, you can buy used car at a cheaper price. Simply upgrade and repair it to make it look nicer then sell it. My uncle starts from there. Now, he's an owner of one auto shop in tow.

It depends on your skill. If you're skilled, you can end up making lots more than 4000 a month. But then again, you could try real estate too, that can get you some nice payments too.

Are you doing a sales job now? Are you good at persuading people? Do you know lots of stuff about the car?If you answer no to all the questions here, then I think you better not try your hand at car selling. You might think that the commission is very significant in relative to your current job but I want to tell you one thing. You are selling cars here and not potatoes chips.

You must think thrice before setting your foot in the car business. With the rising prices of fuel and steel, cars are becoming expensive so think before u act and always have a back up plan before you step in to the business.
