First of all congratulations on your promotion.
My advise would firstly be not to panic, and dont get too stressed about your new responsibilities.
Managing a team can be difficult, but you must remember that your team must be able to find you reasonable and approachable. Keep their targets achievable and I always found that thanking those who help you along is a good thing to do, hard working and competent staff like to know they are appreciated. At least I do anyway!
