So, if I have a call list of 500 names that I need to plug through, how can I streamline my time by calling only the most interested/qualified customers. Why not send an email campaign to these 500 names profiling the product/service you are using. Of course, you will want to make sure these names are opt-in email subscribers so as not to breach any CAN-SPAM compliance guidelines.

Most email marketing applications will give you reporting data on overall open rate and links clicked by customer. Mail 500 people and see that 215 opened the email and of that 215 people, 123 people actually clicked on a link for further information. Aren't these the people you would like to call first?

I am currently using ACT! as my CRM and use an email marketing service called Swiftpage email that is integrated into my ACT!. After I send an email campaign, the service brings all of the reporting data back into ACT! and sorts leads by interest in the service I am selling.

Does anyone else have any other lead qualification strategies or tools that provide additional value to streamlining the sales cycle?
